Sydnie's Sunset Fun Run and Skate

Get ready for some fun because on Saturday May 6 from 5-8 p.m we will be making a BIG mess to honor Sydnie Jones. A beautiful girl that graced our world for 19 years short years before we lost her in a tragic car accident in 2021. Last year we raised over $20,000 for the skate park in downtown Blue Ridge. This year we are hoping to raise another $25,000 to put towards the completion and operating costs.

If you would like to participate as a runner, sponsor or a volunteer on the day of the event please fill out a contact form. As we plan for our 2nd Annual Syndie's Sunset Fun Run and Skate we will follow up with more details. Last year our event was held at Meeks park. We have not secured a location yet because we would love to hold our event in Blue Ridge. The date will remain the same so mark you calendar and plan to join us for a beautiful evening.

This event will take place rain or shine. If it rains we might catch a rainbow too. You will check in at the registration tables upon arrival where you will receive your shirt and color packet. The run will begin approx. 5:30 p.m. with a color explosion!

You can bring your skateboards, bikes, skates, etc. This event is about gathering together to have some fun and support a good cause in honor of our sweet Sydnie.

There will be food trucks and music immediately following the run/skate so come prepared to buy dinner and hang out awhile to share the sunset together.
